The Dodge Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is proud to congratulate Jessica Klingfus, the District Manager, for successfully completing the inaugural District Manager Professional Development Cohort (DMPD) sponsored by the Minnesota Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (MASWCD).
The 2025-2026 MASWCD DMPD program brought together 13 District Managers from SWCDs across Minnesota from August 2025 to August 2026. The training program was specifically created for SWCD District Managers to enhance management skills, financial acumen and operational efficiency.
The group met for seven in-depth multi-day sessions over one year that focused on increasing their knowledge of management principles, strengthening relationships and building confidence in their abilities to lead their teams in conservation work in Minnesota.
This was the first class to complete this statewide MASWCD training. The content was designed in partnership with MASWCD and delivered by Steve Olson, CEO and Agricultural Strategy Consultant of Steve Olson Consulting, LLC.
